When white people ask black people “what can I do about racism?” What they really want to know is:
Do black people see the solution to racial tension in a fuutre achieved state of unity and equality, or if we all are just waiting for power to change hands so black people can dominate whites in turn for 500 years? The concern behind white people asking how they can help is that a majority of blacks may view white people as being merely the obstacle and not a part of the solution. It’s really a Mea Culpa generally followed by resignation to do nothing, so as not be be more of a problem than they already are. The real question is do black people think peace, unity and equality are possible and/or desirable? Martin Luther King's "I have a dream" speech made it seem like the answer was yes, and that ushered in some civil rights progress. But that was 60 years and almost 4 generations ago. And MLK’s voice was different from other black leaders of the time. MLK’s voice reduced racial tensions. It had whites wanting to cooperate with blacks to have shared equity in society. But there were plenty of critics of MLK about the practicality or accuracy of that message. Is "I have a dream" practical or relevant in 2023?

Maybe genes, as in DNA are the real sentient life form and all the creatures or living things that we know of are just their machines. And h we humans being are just the artificial intelligence that they created (maybe accidentally) like the machines run amuck in Terminator and the Matrix.
