For racial relations to improve we have to move past Minority and majority. If we are each part of a unique cultural heritage then we are united in our shared purpose to preserve and share our culture alike. Freedom and tolerance are measures of equality. The higher they are for one means the higher they are for all. This breeds cooperation and engagement.
With a majority and minority's the sides are at odds. Tolerance and freedom are a sliding scale being fought over. For one side to gain, the other must lose. This breeds competition and conflict.
We have to view cultural value in terms of growth, not market share. We need bar graphs not pie charts.
