Marketing is all Psychology

Marketing is all psychology
  That's probably why I like it.

Psychology is seen as useful in society by business and governing organizations to "get people to do what we want"
     Psychology has been valued as a means of control.

I don't want to control people.
 I like to indulge in psychology because of what I learn about myself and others, as individuals and as a group.
     To me psychology is a tool of exploration and discovery. A way to unravel mysteries.
          It is this aspect that ties it into philosophy mythology, anthropology etc.
              It also ties it to relationships, knowledge, emotions etc.
                     So psychology can be utilized and applied for many purposes.

Understanding of others, better relationships and interaction
